Radioshow on WFMU -MP3-
It was great to be back in NYC and Berlin to meet up with old and new friends. I particularly enjoyed my time in NY, I had a blast spinning records at APT's Bumpshop. I also got to do another radio show with my friend Matt Finewine:
Thanx to Greg from Madrid, the show is now available in mp3 format

Wow, Frank, this stuff is seriously bent! Any hope it will be posted soon in downloadable form rather than streaming audio?
Thanks for all the great mixes on your blog and your reports about the situation in and around Conakry - would be great to read more!
Right now i am listening to your Syliphone mix, makes me happy! I will feature your blog over on mine.
Greetings and all the best!
I love the music.
How do I save the mp3 files to my hard drive and play them with Win Media Player?
All mp3s should be downloadable without any problem only the podcast from WFMU's Downtown Soulville that you find through the link above works a bit differently. I'm used to Mac but try rightclick-savetarget...
dude, how much did you spent on records during your stay there? it sounds really rad by all accounts, i mean, how you can possibly keep that scouting activity sustainable with all those crazy plane trips and fellas who should be payed for their services??? i'm really astonished (haha in a good way!) by these lil stories, wow! i am kind of a neophyte on the area, so the djing world and this obsession for crate digging is a total mistery to me. shed some light for me, please. you lose loads of money buying piles of stuff or it is still some kind of investment? sorry if it sounds indiscreet but i am truly curious about that y'know. anyway, your posts are great... keep bring'em!
Dear Manni,
Sadly, I'm in no position to reveal any details on the financial side of my operation down here. I can however assure you that I don't buy up bulk for pennies but work with a network of local agents who I train to look for specifical stuff. They all make really good money. I had someone a while back comment on thos blog that I'd more or less comit an act of cultural exploitation down here and take advantage of the fact that the locals don't know how much these things are worth. That's simply not the case. I'm not on any few-weeks or couple-of-months digging tour. I live here and want to keep my helpers happy and motivated. It also helps that I have very few material needs besides the records...
